Biography
Rajesh has completed his Postdoctoral Research Associate from Liquid Crystal Institute, USA and Ph.D. (Organic Chemistry) from University of Akron, USA. Rajesh Shenoy is the Vice President & Global Head of Research & Development for API Services at Piramal Pharma Solutions. Rajesh spearheads R&D initiatives at the sites in Digwal, Ennore, Torcan and Riverview. Rajesh has over 20 years of professional experience in managing small to large scale discovery/development as well as commercial projects and has cross-functional expertise in various disciplines including drug design, multi-step synthesis (micro & macro scale), lead identification and optimization of small molecules as potential drug candidates.
Research Interest
His core areas of expertise include New Product and Generic Development, Medicinal Chemistry, Technology Transfer, Organic Synthesis, Process Development, API Manufacturing and Alliance/Project Management.
