Biography
Rajesh Laddha is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Piramal Group. He also heads Secretarial and Mergers & Acquisition functions of the company. Rajesh joined the Piramal Group in 2001 and has played a critical role in executing smooth acquisitions, mergers, sale & transitions in the Company. Till now, he has successfully completed several deals of various forms. Some of the major transactions led by him are: - Sale of Company’s domestic formulation business to Abbott Laboratories - Investment in Vodafone India, which generated an IRR of 19% on a ~$1.2bn - Acquisition of Decision Resources Group - Investment in India’s financial services company – Shriram Transport and Shriram Capital
