Biography
R. Rukkumani obtained Ph.D. from Annamalai University, India. She currently holds as a Assistant Professor in Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, School of Life Sciences at Pondicherry University. Her research of interest includes Molecular Medicine Cancer Biology, Nano Oncology,Gene Delivery, Phytotherapy Research, Liver toxicity. She has been awarded with Best project award by Scientific solutions for a designed M.Sc project; 'SRI BALAJI’ Endowment Research Gold Medal for the Best Paper presentation during International symposium of ISAR, held at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, December 2003; First Prize for the Best Paper presentation in UGC National Conference on Natural Products in Health, Department of Biochemistry, AnnamalaiNagar, Tamilnadu, February 2005; Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship for Ph.D research work for the year 2003 & 04; Department of Biotechnology (DBT), India.
