Biography
S. Venu obtained Ph.D. from Cochin University. He currently holds as a Assistance Professor in the Department of Ocean Studies and Marine Biology, School of Life Sciences at Pondicherry University. He has 14 years of research experience.
Research Interest
Taxonomy and Molecular Phylogeny of fishes, Fishery Biology, Fishing Technology, Echomorphology, Crustose Coralline Algae, Ecomorphology, Marine Ornamental fish behaviour and breeding.
