Biography
Dr. Deepak Kaul is the Professor, Head of Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology, Department in Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education Research, Chandigarh, India. He earned his PhD at AIIMS New Delhi. He has published 120 reviewed papers and has a teaching experience of more than 30 years. He has served as member of New York academy of Science, American Association of Advancement of Science. He is currently serving as a member of the editorial board as well as reviewer of peer reviewed International Journals in the area of Functional Genomics, Genomic Immunity. He has chaired 25 International conferences. He has received many awards honours including the prestigious fellowship of Indian National Science Academy. He has served in many National International academic bodies especially those engaged in Molecular Medicine and Human Genomics. His research interest includes functional RNAomics in health and diseased states especially Coronary Heart Disease, Leukemia, AIDS, Tuberculosis.
Research Interest
Her main research focus is on Functional RNAomics of genes responsible for human diseases such as Leukemia; Coronary Heart Disease; Host-susceptibility to M.Tuberculosis and HIV-1 infection.
