A lateral thinking senior executive with formidable background in HRD in diversified industries and impeccable academic credentials. Graduate of four distinguished universities in India and the U.S. including the University of Wisconsin - Madison, listed among the Top 50 Universities in the World (2017). Achieved the rank of full professor at 36 in the record time of six years after Ph.D. Served in progressively responsible administrative positions in academia, health care, government and private sector, culminating as Vice President of Human Resources Development during 46 years in the U.S. (1960-2006). Also worked for four years as Director of Education and Training at Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Lectured and consulted extensively internationally. Traveled to 40 countries on six continents. Authored over 75 published papers including 40 since 2011, book chapters, reviews, and government reports. Certified by the Quality Council of India to be the Internal Counselor to healthcare organizations on NABH Standards. Received Life Time Achievement Awards from The Indus Foundation at the Indo-Global Healthcare Summit & Expo 2014 and from Medgate Today (a leading healthcare publication) in 2016.
