Biography
Dr. Deepak is presently working as an Associate Professor at Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG). Before joining IIPHG,he served as faculty with Government Medical College, Surat under Government of Gujarat for more than 11 years. Besides MD in Community Medicine, he also has a Ph.D. in epidemiology and post doc from Karolinska Institute, Sweden. He has more than 70 publications in peer-reviewed national and International journals to his credit. He has also authored two books on Community Medicine with Reed Elsevier publishers.

Include infectious diseases epidemiology,emerging infectious diseases, zoonoses, non-communicable disease epidemiology and monitoring and evaluation
