Biography
Dr. Monika Setia has been working with Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI)/ Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) as Assistant Professor since last three years. She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Health Policy and Administration at The Pennsylvania State University, U.S.A. in 2010. After receiving her doctorate degree, she worked as a Research Fellow in the Health Services and Systems Research program at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore. She has received external funding for her research, published work in leading international journals, and presented her research at prominent conferences. The focus of her Ph.D. training and most of her research has been on quantitative methods. Additionally, she has used multiple statistical software, including SPSS, Stata, and SAS, for her research. She has experience in managing and analyzing large datasets. Monika has also conducted multiple workshop on SPPS and quantitative data analysis at Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar, India and Pennsylvania State University, USA. She has taught courses on biostatistics to public health and medical professionals at IIPHG.
