Purabi Rath

Biography

Ms. Purabi Rath did her Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management from Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi. Her key interest lies in control of chronic NCD, environmental determinants of health- effects of pesticides on health and also at strengthening the scopes of implementation science. She is also a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka. Her keen interest is in rehabilitation of people with locomotor and associated disabilities too. Currently, she is working with Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) on one of its seminal Mental Health Project, EMERALD as a Research Assistant. Prior to joining this she was associated with “CARRS Surveillance Study” and “EMERALD” project as a Visiting Research Assistant, PHFI.Earlier to this, during her 4years tenure of clinical experience in Physiotherapy she was associated with various organizations/ hospital in Delhi and Odisha.
