Biography
Dr Rachana Parikh is a medical doctor with a Master’s degree in Public Health. She is most interested in pursuing research in the broad areas of mental health and health governance. In the last three years she has been involved in research projects on mental health in Public Health Foundation of India and was recently awarded the Vanderbilt-Emory-Cornell-Duke Fogarty Global Health Fellowship to undertake analysis of Mental Health Policy. She has previously worked with the Government of India to support the integrated planning and appraisal of the District and State Health Plans of the National Rural Health Mission, a flagship program with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
