Biography
Mr. Srinivas Nallala has MSc in International Public Health (MPH) from the Liverpool school of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), UK and has a Masters in Social work with specialisation in Medical & Psychiatry from the Roda Mistry College of Social Work and Research Centre, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. As part of his project work for MPH, Srinivas has conducted a study on the current HIV testing and counseling practices to design community based HIV testing model in Blantyre city, Malawi. He was associated with Malawi-Liverpool-Wellcome (MLW) Trust, Malawi for his project work. In his current capacity as faculty at IIPH, Bhubaneswar, Srinivas is involved in various academic and administrative activities. These include teaching Project management and Qualitative Research in the public health management diploma (PGDPHM). Besides active participation in teaching and research activities, he is involved in developing and delivery of other short term training programmes in the area of public health. He is also a student advisor for dissertation projects in the PGDPHM course. Prior to joining PHFI, Srinivas has worked with several national and international foundations, government and non government organizations and has over 10 years of experience in managing different health programmes (HIV-AIDS, TB and RCH).
