Supriya Bhavnani

Biography

Supriya Bhavnani is currently working as INSPIRE Faculty at Public Health Foundation of India, Gurgaon since September 2015. Upon obtaining a PhD in Genetics from University of Leicester, UK, Supriya has worked on the genetic basis of autism and dementia during her tenure as research associate and INSPIRE Faculty at National Brain Research Centre, Manesar. She is now looking at applying her experience in neuroscience research to the emerging field of public health measures for mental illnesses. In particular her focus is on the translation of clinical and neuroscience research into tools for detection and intervention of brain disorders.
