Biography
Dr.M.Balachandar is a young and dynamic Pulmonologist with an experience of over 8 years in managing respiratory diseases such as Asthma, Allergy, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Bronchiectasis, Tuberculosis, Lung cancer and Sleep related breathing disorders. He has completed his postgraduate training (Diplomat National Board) in Apollo hospitals, Chennai. He got extensive training in pulmonary interventions/Sleep medicine in Apollo hospitals, Chennai under the guidance of Dr.R.Narasimhan, Dr.Raj.Singh, Dr.Gayathri. He also underwent training in advanced pulmonary interventions in MAX Hospitals, New Delhi, endorsed by The European Association for Bronchology & Interventional Pulmonology (EABIP). He underwent training in Respiratory Allergy & Immunology in Vallabhai Patel Chest institute, New Delhi and with Dr.Ravindran, Trivandrum, Kerala. He attended Advanced sleep medicine course organized by the department of pulmonary, critical care & Sleep medicine, VMMC& Safdarjang hospital, New Delhi, Endorsed by Indian Sleep Disorder Association (ISDA).
