Biography

Mr. Jaishankar is also the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry (SME) known as CIPI, a national body of SME Pharma Manufacturers all over India, having membership of nearly 3000 pharmaceutical manufacturers in India. A Member of the Advisory Board of European Pharma Contract, a leading Pharma Publication. Member of the Advisory Board of Pharma Biz, a leading Pharma Publication in India. He led the delegates of pharma industries at the Interphex, China and he spoke to a large gathering of pharma manufacturers in China. He also spoke in several forums including Chamber of Commerce, Brazil, Cuba, Columbia and Pakistan. He was invited by the Chamber of Commerce, Luxemburg to present India’s achievements in the pharmaceutical industry.He represented CIPI at the Economic Advisory Board Meeting of the Government of India to arrive at a consensus on the Draft National Pharma Policy in India.He has several Publications to his credit and has participated as a Speaker in National and International Forum.
