Thiruvalargal B. Narendran is Non-Executive Independent Director of Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corp Ltd. He is a chemical engineer and a Master's graduate from U.S.A. in transportation, had been a consultant to Shell Inc. Houston, Rite-Aid Pharmacy, Detroit and State Highways Administration, Baltimore, USA. Thiru Narendran is also the Principal Secretary, Consulate General, Republic of Phillipines in Chennai. Thiru Narendran is a Member of the Audit Committee, Shareholders' / Investors' Grievance Committee and Remuneration Committee of the Company. He is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee, Shareholders' / Investors' Grievance and Share & Debenture Committee, Remuneration Committee and Capital Issues & Allotment Committee of Sicagen India Ltd.
