Nilesh Makwana

Biography

Dr. Nilesh Makwana has done his Masters degree in Cardio-Pulmonary Sciences. Has done many courses in Manual therapy, Taping, Fitness, Rehabilitation and so on. He is an Authorized fitness trainer in Mumbai from Indian Academy of Fitness Training (Mangalore). Has done fellowship in Cardiac Rehabilitation from Medvarsity online and Apollo Hospital Education and Research (Hyderabad). He has also done Sports Physiotherapy course from Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and All India Football Federation (AIFF), New Delhi. Have also done Sports Science Sports Medicine (SSSM) course from BCCI and NCA at Bangalore. Currently Pursuing Diploma in Football Medicine from FIFA. Worked at pulmonary rehabilitation centre in mumbai where he treated more than 100 respiratory related problems for improving their quality of life and fitness. He has treated and trained many indian athletes, currently training indian squash player, football player and ranji cricket player, evaluated more than 200 athletes for fitness evaluation and performance from Zenith School (Vadodara) and Sports Authority of India (Mumbai). He was also in lead role for Summer Sports Camp held at Vyara, Surat and Valsad organised by Sports Authority of Gujarat (May 2016). Published and presented many research articles at national and international journals. As a Director of All India Institute of Certified Professionals (AIICP), he has also published a book "Manual for Certification for Personal Training". He is a registered physiotherapist at Indian Association of Physiotherapists and Maharashtra State OT & PT Council. Member of Manual Therapy Foundation of India, European Respiratory Society are also in the list.
