Post Doctorate from IIT Delhi (ICPR Fellowship); Ph.d. from Kerala University; holding Master's Degree in Sociology and Philosophy; International Editorial board Member, Routledge International Journal on Migration and Development; Published research articles in national and international journals and books; Reviewed National Youth Policy 2003 and drafting committee member, Tamilnadu State Youth Policy; Expert Group Member, Gender Youth and Migration, Sub community of UN Solution Exchange, UNESCO; Involved in research studies/Conducted workshops/seminars in collaboration with Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram, ILO, Planning Commission, ICSSR, IOM, Bangkok, FES, Germany and Aid et Action etc; Areas of professional interests include: Youth Migration, Youth Employment and Skill Development, Development Ethics and Policy Analysis
