Biography
Dr. Viswanath Talasila is a Professor in the Telecommunication Department, MSRIT. His areas of interests are Design of Wearables, Analytics, Systems Theory (Controls, Modeling) - with a strong focus towards medical applications. He is collaborating with Ramaiah Hospital and IIT-Madras on the development of medical devices - in the area of physical neuro-rehabilitation. He is collaborating with Stanford University in the area of Human Brain Control studies. He has recently offered an NPTEL course in Control Engineering, together with IIT-Madras.
