Biography
Shri Hital R. Meswani (DIN 00001623) graduated with Honours in the Management & Technology programme from the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the Wharton Business School. He joined Reliance Industries Limited in 1990. He is on the Board of the Company as Whole-time Director designated as Executive Director since August 4, 1995, with overall responsibility of the Petroleum Refining Business and all Manufacturing, Research & Technology and Project Execution activities of the group. He is a member of the Finance Committee and Stakeholders Relationship Committee and Chairman of the Health, Safety and Environment Committee of the Company. He is a Director of Reliance Industrial Investments and Holdings Limited and Reliance Commercial Dealers Limited. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Reliance Industrial Investments and Holdings Limited and is a member of the Audit Committee of Reliance Commercial Dealers Limited.
