Biography
Parag Sharma is the Chief Operating Officer at ReNew Power. With an experience spanning almost two decades, Parag joined ReNew Power from KPMG, where he was the Director of the Transaction Services division and was leading the power sector team. Prior to that, Parag was Head of Energy Practice of ICRA’s consulting arm. He has been a part of the commissioning team of India’s first IPP- GVK, Jegurupadu and has extensive experience in erection & commissioning. As part of the senior leadership team at ReNew Power, Parag’s role as Chief Operating Officer involves leading the offtake and regulatory function. He is also actively involved with the development of the solar team and building the solar portfolio of ReNew.Parag is an Electrical Engineer from Aligarh Muslim University, an MBA from IIT Delhi and LLB from Delhi University.
