Prabhat Mishra

Biography

    Prabhat is working as Vice President & Head-Offtake & Distributed Solar Generation at ReNew Power. He leads the Offtake, Regulatory Affairs and Distributed Solar generation vertical. He has been instrumental in creating a project portfolio of around 250 MW for supplying green energy to industrial and commercial consumers in various geographies. He is responsible for maximizing the revenue of the company by choosing optimum sale mix among utilities, industries and other consumers, trading licensees etc. Prabhat has over 15 years of experience in the power sector. In his earlier role he was heading Power Sales, Policy & Regulatory Affairs department at Green Infra Limited. Prior to this he was working as Head-Business Development for Reliance Energy Trading Limited. He has also worked with NTPC operated gas, liquid fuel and coal based power projects at various locations. Prabhat has studied electrical engineering at BIT Sindri and is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and RMIT, Melbourne where he has undergone management education.
