Biography
Mr. Gopaliya joined the University on 14th July, 2008. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Govt. Engineering College, Jagdalpur, one of the premier institutes in Central India. He obtained his M. Tech. degree in the field of Engineering Mechanics from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2005. Before joining The NorthCap University Gurugram, he was senior lecturer for three years in PDM College of Engineering, Bahadurgarh, one of the premier engineering colleges in the National Capital Region (NCR). He was also head of Mechanical Engineering Department there for last six months. He has been involved in teaching for various UG and PG courses. His fields of teaching are Fluid Mechanics and Machines, Strength of Materials, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Methods etc. His area of research is Computational Fluid Dynamics. He is actively involved in research activities and successfully completed one AICTE sponsored project related to analysis of vehicular pollution using CFD. He has published eight papers in international and national journals and conferences. He is associated with professional societies like the Aeronautical Society of India and Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE).
