Biography

"An assertive yet humble academician with 22 years of mixed as well as credible experience having passion for teaching adequately supported with strong academic administration skills. Has sound knowledge of framework for holistic development of professional institutions. Also has competence in developing short/long term goals and sound assessment systems to track the same. Has been working as Professor (IT Management) at Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (A Constituent of Symbiosis International University, Pune). Has also been contributing as Honorary Member at Centre of Excellence (CoE) in IT Enabled Services (ITES) Vertical established by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) School of Vocational Education (SVE), Mumbai. Had handled additional charge of Academics Department of Symbiosis International University, Pune during earlier assignment involving overall academic administration of seven faculties, 30 constituents/departments and more than 70 programmes. Has earned PhD Degree (Business Administration), MS (Software Systems), post graduate qualifications in Mathematics and Business Studies besides International Certifications. Has notable experience in consulting, research, publishing and training & development domains. Has been ensuring adequate representation of academic community at various forums, review & advisory boards, discussion panels, congregations, workshops, conferences, seminars etc. Has always been rated highly by students, peers and seniors on effective oral and written communication skills. Has credible proficiency in using engaging teaching skills incorporating innovative practices to ensure effective and lifelong learning among students. "
