Biography
Er. P. Ponnurangam, DCE, B.Tech (Civil), BBA (General), ME (Transportation Engineering), MISTE, MIRC, (Ph.D), Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Completed his DCE in Murugappa Polytechnic College, Chennai – 600 062, B.Tech (Civil) in SRM University, Kattankulathur, BBA(General) in Madras University, ME – Transportation Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. He is doing his Ph.D in the area of Traffic Impact Analysis in Anna University. He has seven years industrial experience and two years teaching experience. He also presented and published nearly twenty national and international conferences. Recently he was received TNSCST project grants. He has visited the country Europe, Turkey, Istanbul. His area of interest is Sustainable Transportation Planning, Traffic Engineering and Management, Pavement Management and Road Safety. He handles courses like Highway Engineering, Railways, Airports and Harbour Engineering, Estimation and Quantity Surveying, Prefabricated Structures, Design of Reinforced Concrete and Brick Masonry Structures, etc.
