Study of ultrasound propagation parameters in solids and liquids showing structural transitions. Development of Fourier Transform Ultrasound Spectroscopic method suitable for small size crystals. Study on the formation and growth mechanism for solution growth of crystals. Monte-Carlo simulation study on the dynamics and stability of two dimensional model systems. Available experimental facilities are Pulse-echo set-up, Resonant Ultrasound Spectrometer, Solution Growth Chamber.
