Dr. Devendra Prasad Maurya

Biography

I have joined the Department in September, 2014 and is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Biochemistry and Biochemical Engineering. He has completed his Bachelor of Technology (Biochemical Technology) in 2005 from Allahabad Agriculture Institute –Deemed University, Allahabad and completed his Masters in Technology in Biochemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), Kanpur in 2007. He was awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad, in March 2015. He is currently teaching to undergraduates, post graduates and PhD students. His research focused on the bioconversion of lignocellulosic biomass to bio-ethanol and value addition. Up to now he has published 07 research papers in international journal and 02 books, which together have received over 67 citations.
