Biography

Dr.K.Prasada Rao,Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, joined as faculty in 2004 and has been teaching courses of Biochemistry and Physiology at undergraduate and post-graduate level. Dr.Rao obtained his Masters in Biochemistry from Nagarjuna University-Andhra Pradesh ,Ph.D in Biochemistry from SHIATS Deemed to be University,Allahabad. Dr.Rao major research focus is on crop plant tolerance mechanisms to abiotic stresses,crop improvement strategies and biofuel production from algal feedstocks,apart from this ,he is also involved in enzymes,biomaterials research. He is a member of learned societies like ASBMB and society of Biological chemists of India.
