Biography
Atul Anand Mishra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Process Engineering, VSAET, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences. He received his B.Tech in Biotechnology in 2007 at Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University and his M.Tech in Food technology in 2009 also at Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University. He received the gold medal in his post graduation (M.Tech). He joined the Department of Food Process Engineering as an Assistant Professor in 2010. His researches are focused on the Food Process Engineering and Food Biotechnology. He also develops innovative solutions to technical problems in the Food Industry. Basic and applied research on development of new processes to make products safer and produce them more cost effectively. He also worked on to utilize food waste into some other valuable forms which generates the economy.He also taught the subjects related to Engineering processes and Quality control operation involved in food and dairy processing. He focuses on research of M.Tech and B.Tech students in the areas of Food process Engineering and Food biotechnology.
