Shivrao Y. Ghorpade is Executive Chairman of the Board, Managing Director of Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd. Mr. Ghorpade, a qualified Metallurgical Engineer from the Colarado School of Mines, USA and has been associated with the Company for over 46 years including over three decades of creditable service as head of its Metal & Ferro Alloys Plant and over 5 years as Technical Director. He has been Chairman & Managing Director of the Company since 31 January 2001.
