Biography

Jayaprakash G, M. Pharm, (Ph.D) has completed his Master degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Grace College of Pharmacy Palakkad under Calicut University in 2012 and Bachelor of Pharmacy from Mar Dioscoros College of Pharmacy, Trivandrum under Kerala University in 2009. He has 4 years of teaching experience in KTN College Pharmacy, Ottapalam Palakkad. He has got 7 months experience in Preclinical studies including handling of Lab Animals in Orchid Laboratories and Research Center, Sholinganallur, Chennai, as a part of his Post-Graduation thesis work. During this period he has got experience in using sophisticated analytical instruments like Ultra Violet Spectrophotometer, High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Ultra-Centrifuge and different extraction techniques like solid-liquid extraction and liquid-liquid extraction. He also worked as a dispensing Pharmacist in Caritas Multi-Specialty Hospital, Kottayam, after completion of his D-Pharm during the year 2002- 2005. He attended national and international scientific seminars conducted in various colleges affiliated to Kerala and Calicut Universities. He attended and presented a Poster presentation at 62nd IPC held at Manipal University, Manipal, 2010 on ‘Analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity of Secamone emetica’. Currently he is pursing his Ph.D. in Pharmacy in JJT University Rajasthan, on isolation and characterization of herbal drugs.
