Biography
JEAN-PIERRE BAYLET joined as Country Head – Sanofi Pasteur South Asia effective July 2015. Jean-Pierre started his career with the erstwhile Aventis in 2000, and after several Financial Controller roles of progressive responsibilities in Germany and France, he joined Sanofi Pasteur as the Global Commercial Operations Controller in 2005. In 2007, he became the Attaché to the President and CEO of Sanofi Pasteur, based in the USA, and then in 2011, he was appointed Marketing Director, Sanofi Pasteur CANAC and Colombia. Jean-Pierre was subsequently appointed Operations Director for Sanofi Pasteur Colombia in 2012 prior to being named as General Manager, Sanofi Pasteur Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia in 2013. His rich experience from his diverse management background across two business activities and several countries will be of immense value to enhance the India business. Jean-Pierre has a Master’s degree in Economics from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Compiegne and Haarlem Business School. In 2011, he also attended the Marketing programs of University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School and INSEAD.
