Biography

He is currently working as a Professor in P G Department of Geology at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, India. He completed Ph. D. (Geology) 1991, Lucknow University, Lucknow on the topic entitled “Sedimentological studies of the Triassic succession of Malla Johar area, Tethys Himalaya, Uttar Pradesh with special reference to diagenesis” under the supervision of Prof. S. Kumar, Department of Geology. He experience includes 22 years (M. Sc., M. Phil., P. G. Diploma in Watershed Technology and Management), 27 years (Sedimentology, Palaeobiology , Hydrogeology) and 05 years (Head, Department of Geology, SGB Amravati University, Amravati).He is the Chairman of RESEARCH CELL, SGB Amravati University, Amravati.

Research Interest

Carbonate petrology, Basin analysis, Ichnology, Fluvial sedimentology, Megafloral and faunal remains, Morphometry, Water quality analysis, Hydrogeomorphology, Glacial sediments.
