Biography
Post Graduate Teaching experience of 19 years at Department of Botany, Amravati, University, Amravati (from Jan. 1992 till date).Actively engaged in research; 9½ years research experience at Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow (from April 1982 to Dec. 1991, including Ph.D. work from 1982 to 1988) and 19 years of teaching and research at Deptt. of Botany Amravati University, Amravati.Co-principal investigator of the DST sponsored project "Study of fossil biota from Gondwana rocks of district Betul, (M.P) and its possible implications on Gondwana palaeogeogrphy (Rs.7.74.000/-). Under this project detailed work on mega floristic evidences was undertaken. The study emphasized the palaeogeographic conditions, and phylogenetic significance of the fossil flora. (Dr. A. K.
