Biography
Completed his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering in 1977, M.Tech in Control Systems in 1979, Ph.D in Reliability Engineering in 1994. Prof. Jain started his career as Faculty of Electrical Engineering from his alma meta, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra and served there up to December 1988. He was selected as Assistant Professor in National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur and served there from December 1988 to February 2000. In February 2000 Prof. Jain joined as Professor in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Department of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal and presently Prof. Jain is serving as Director of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal since March 2015.
Research Interest
During his academic career span of 38 years, Prof. Jain has taught various subjects at UG/PG levels and has published more than 100 research papers in International and National journals and Conferences. Prof. Jain has guided 06 Ph.D., large no. of Dissertations/Projects at PG/UG level and presently guiding 5 Ph.D. scholars
