Biography

Shri N. Govindraya Pai holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering. He has an extensive Banking experience spread over 33 years. An ex-ICICI banker, he has shouldered several responsibilities at various positions. He has reviewed over 500 mid to large sized commercial projects across Industrial Segments. These included new products, high technology and first generation entrepreneurs. His expertise includes financial analysis, increasing quality advances, formulating business plan,strategies to improve fee based income, etc. He has also successfully implemented rehabilitation plans and revival of sick units with commendable success. He was associated our Bank for 9 years from the year 2000 to 2009. During this tenure with the bank, the advances portfolio grew from Rs 1,600 crore to Rs 7,500 crore. He took planned steps to reduce bank’s Net NPA to less than 2.5%. He has given a broad credit vision to the bank and has developed leadership qualities in many Executives and Branch Managers of the bank. With his in-depth study of various industries, he successfully accomplished the task of retaining Bank’s prestigious borrowers/customers.
