S S Bhandare

Biography

Shri S S Bhandare is M.A. in Economics and LLB from the Mumbai University and has Diploma in Business Management from Bajaj Institute of Management. He is a well-known authority in the field of economic research. He started his professional career with the Reserve Bank of India as Research Assistant and later joined the Tata Group in its Department of Economics and Statistics. He was an Advisor (Economic and Government Policy) with Tata Strategic Management Group, Chief Executive Officer of Bombay First and Chief Economist of Maharashtra Economic Development Council. He was also associated as a visiting faculty with some prestigious management institutes including Tata Management Training Centre, Pune. He was also associated with ASSOCHAM and Indian Merchants’ Chamber. He is currently the President of All-India Bank Depositors’ Association. He participates along with representatives of Chambers of Commerce and Credit Rating Agencies, in the Pre-Monetary Policy consultative meetings with the RBI Governor.
