Biography
Dr. Barkha Kamal has 10 years of teaching and 13 years of research experience. She has supervised 17 Post- graduate thesis and she has been associated with 1 Research Project as Co-PI funded by Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology, Uttarakhand, focusing the research on plant morphogenesis of high altitude medicinal plants by establishing Plant Tissue Culture facility at SBSPGI. She has published 30 International and National research papers, presented 07 papers in Conferences and submitted 04 gene sequences in the International Gene Bank. Her area of expertise is related to botany, taxonomy, plant biotechnology and tissue culture.
