Biography
He has qualified CSIR-NET-1990, GATE-90 and ICFRE-1990. He holds more than 23 years of teaching and research experience and has secured his doctoral degree from IIT, Roorkee. He has supervised 95 Post graduate dissertations, 16 Doctoral thesis and another 05 students are working under his supervision for their Ph.D. His publications include 85 peer reviewed Research Papers in National and International Journals of repute and presented more than 100 papers in conference and published 03 books. He is also associated as PI/CO-PI of six projects sponsored by UCOST, WTI, DST, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Dr. Gupta was also a Member of Task Force for HRD development in Biotechnology in Uttarakhand in 2005, State Biotechnology Program, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
