Biography
He is currently working on Selection and molecular characterization of rhizome rot resistant Ginger (Zingiber officinale ) against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.zingiberi through in vitro methods and Screening and Selection of an anthelmintic drug tolerant strain of Arthrobotrys musiformis as a potential biocontrol agent against animal nematodes
Research Interest
The major areas of Research interest is Plant and Fungal Biotechnology. The objectives of the research programme are: Bioremediation of heavy metal pollutants. Selection of resistant plants and identification of specific genes involved in resistance against fungal pathogens. Isolation, characterization and overexpression of Plant L-asparaginase for the treatment of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. solation and molecular characterization of fungal biocontrol agents against animal nematode pets.
