Krupesh A Chauhan

Biography

Dr. Krupesh Chauhan joined the SVNIT in 1993 and currently holds the position of Associate Professor in Faculty of Urban Planning. He is also Professor in-charge in Road Network and Landscaping in the institute. He hails long years of teaching and research experience in multidisciplinary field of urban and regional planning, Traffic and Transportation planning, Building Planning and AHP based Urban Modeling. He has established well equipped laboratory for Transportation Engineering and Urban Studio. He has delivered theme talks, chaired sessions and remained jury for the awards in the national and international conferences, universities in India and abroad. He is instrumental in preparation of Different research project for the institute. He had been a member of Technical Scrutiny Agency of Gujarat state during 2001 to 2015. He is one of the members in the Celebration of Different of Days, Technical Festivals, Annual functions etc., of the institute. At present, he is cocoordinator for Unnath Bharat Abhiyan Cell, SVNIT Surat. He has already visited foreign countries North Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, USA (New Jersey, New York, Washington DC, Niagara, Florida, Miami, New Orleans and Atlanta), UK (London, Birmingham, Bath, Leicester, Oxford, wells, Wolverhampton, Glasgow, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Isle White and Southampton), Germany (Frankfurt), Sri Lanka (Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, Colombo, Kandy, Galle Sigiriya), Thailand (Bangkok and Pattaya), Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Japan (Tokyo, Osaka and Hiroshima).
