Biography
UMASHANKAR was born on 8th May 1984 in Chennai. He completed his undergraduate degree in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering from Anna University and post graduate degree in the field of Biomedical Engineering from VIT University in year 2001 – 2007. He started his carrer as a Assistant Professor in the year 2007 in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Sathyabama University, Chennai. He has renowned his research area in the field of Biosignal Processing and Medical Instrumentation. He has published over 12 scientific papers in well reputed National and International Journals
