Biography
Academic Qualification: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras, Master degree in Engineering Design from the Bharathiyar University and Ph.D from College of Engineering Guindy. Experience: Teaching- 21 years. Expertise area: Cable Mechanics, Vibration and Finite Element Analysis, Contact Mechanics and Tribology, Structural Design of Composite Materials, Machine Component Design, Micro/Nano Mechanics of Nano-structured Materials, Design Validation, Structural Dynamics, Crash Injury Mechanics and Material Design of Biological Systems. He is the recognized supervisor for Anna University (Ref. No. 1920104) Professional Body membership: Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and also a Member of SAEINDIA,ASME, IAEngg. One of the reviewer for various International Journals.
