Biography
Dr Pierre E. Etienne is a clinical development specialist with extensive management experience in large and small pharmaceutical companies. He has a proven track record of successes in early clinical research, clinical operations, including the execution of large clinical programs, regulatory submissions and licensing. His academic experience spanned 10 years of teaching and research in psychiatry. After 3 years in Ciba- Geigy as Associate Director of Clinical Biology Group, he spent the next 13 years managing global clinical research groups at Pfizer. Pierre then joined PhageTech Inc.(now Targanta Therapeutics) as President & Chief Executive Officer and transformed the Montreal-based small biotech company into a small pharmaceutical company (80 employees) focused on hospital products for serious infections.
