Biography
Supriya Desai, M.D. (Pharmacology) oversees Medical Safety Operations (MSO) at Sciformix. Supriya joined Sciformix from DiagnoSearch Life Sciences, a global full-service CRO, where she spearheaded the operations of the medical and safety monitoring, medical writing and consultancy team over a period of 5 years. Immediately prior to this, she played a pivotal role in setting up the Document Operations in Clinical (DOC) team at Novartis, supervising over 20 plus staff in medical and scientific writing. Her prior work experience includes being medical advisor at Siro Clinpharm and clinical practice in general medicine, pediatrics and pathology. In her current role at Sciformix, she provides scientific and operational leadership to the team of physicians involved in medical review activities across pharmacovigilance, surveillance and scientific writing, spanning diverse therapeutic areas
