Dr. S N. Nagendra

Biography

Dr. S N. Nagendra, PhD., MBA., CCRP is the founder, promoter, managing director & Chief Executive Officer of SBM Pvt. Ltd. He is internationally well known eminent scientist who has just returned from USA after 20 years of experience in teaching and translational research in biomedical sciences, Molecular Diagnostics, and drug development.He is a molecular pharmacologist with expertise in biomarker development and its application in cancer diagnosis and therapy that includes experience in industry (Imagine Pharmaceuticals Inc, USA, TargGen Inc, USA, Dr. Reddy's Labs, India,) as well as in USA academia (University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, Mercer University, and Anderson Cancer Institute). He has been the recipient of research funding from National Institutes of Health, USA, American Cancer Society, USA, Georgia Cancer Coalition, USA since 1998. He recently directed the Translational Clinical Research in Brain Tumor and Breast Cancer and Pediatric Oncology at Anderson Cancer Institute, USA. He has more than 200 scientific papers published and presented in scientific journals and International conferences. He has submitted 12 patents within the US, EU, and Japan. Dr. S.N.Nagendra received an MBA from Mercer University; his Post Doc in Pharmacology & Toxicology from University of Kansas; a Ph.D. in Neurochemistry from the National Institute of Mental Health, India; a MSc. in Biochemistry and a BSc. in Chemistry and Biology from Mysore University, India.
