Rajasekar Narayanasamy

Biography

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant and Company Secretary, Rajasekar has more than 30 years of experience in finance, accounting, commercial operations, corporate governance and compliance. Rajasekar joined Shantha in February 2001, and was appointment as CFO and Company Secretary. In addition to handling finance and secretarial departments, he took over the additional responsibility for purchase, systems (IT), legal (including IPR), and asset creation (new projects) functions during this tenure. In 2015, Rajasekar was appointed as the Executive Director sitting on the Shantha Board. He is currently responsible for managing finance, procurement, IS, legal and relation with local authorities. Rajasekar also oversees the administration of R&D, RA, PV, C&MQUO, HR, CRD, Communication and Commercial Operations. Rajasekar is also the Compliance Officer for Shantha ensuring commitment to the highest ethical standards of business conduct. Rajasekar is an ACS, FCA, ACMA and also holds a graduate degree in Commerce. He started his career with M/s. Lovelock & Lewes (PWC) in 1885 and also worked with Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd before joining Shantha. In his previous assignment, he was responsible for managing treasury, finance, ERP systems and governance.
