Mr. Mahesh Tahilyani

Biography

 Mahesh Tahilyani is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and an Information System Analyst from India and a Cost and Management Accountant from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountant, UK.  Since 28th April, 2016, he is Managing Director for Forbes and Company Limited, which is a subsidiary of Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Private Limited. Forbes is one of the few companies of the group listed on the stock exchange.  Prior to the above move, he was with SP group as a Group Financial Controller since 2009. In addition to overseeing certain businesses of SP Group as part of the Management Board he has functionally been involved in activities covering Financial Performance management, Investment Management, Capital allocation in addition to overseeing Business controls, MIS Reporting, supporting the Board in acquisitions (Incl. due diligences), restructuring, SAP Implementation and also supporting the major business across group in Indirect Taxes. He was also handling the Information Technology Function and was responsible to getting the SAP ACE Award 2015 for SPCPL for the SAP implementation of the company.  Prior to this, he has total experience of around 22 years with a multinational organization in areas of Finance and Control, Budgeting, Commercial, Governance, Internal Audit Risk Management, Business Process Reengineering and Corporate Planning including setting up a Shared Service Center for a multinational in India to handle its North American operations related to Finance, Accounting and Purchasing.
