Biography
Dr. A. Rajagopal holds a doctoral degree in Management from Anna University, Chennai. He graduated from Anna University, Chennai in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1984 and obtained a post graduate degree M.Tech in Industrial Management from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai. He also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from NIT, Trichy to his credit. He has been working as an engineer/senior engineer in the area of project management at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Thiruchirappalli for a period of 9 years. He also has the experience of operating a logistic firm for five years during which period he was a forwarding agent for Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Ltd (A Government of Tamil Nadu undertaking)for a period of three years. He has been involved in teaching operations management, supply chain management, operations research, business statistics, and management information system at post graduate level. He has served in various positions in teaching assignments at Anna University, BITS-Pilani, Sona College of Technology, and Adhiyamaan College of Engineering.
