Biography
Chitra Chidambaram is an architect planner having completed her B.Arch from Bangalore University and masters in Infrastructure Planning from University of Stuttgart, Germany. She has worked as research consultant to several national and international organizations including HUDCO, FICCI, UNDP etc. She has worked as Principal Investigator on many construction relevant research projects of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. She has organized and conducted field projects as a part of NGO. She has also served as business line manager for Building Certification for over 5 years for a multinational certification body – ICMQ India. She has conducted training programmes for building professionals under MNRE Scheme. More recently, she has enrolled for a PhD. programme in Sustainable Storm Water Drainage Planning at the Indian Institute of Technology New Delhi.
