Biography

Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, School of Engineering and Technology, Sharda University. My qualification is PhD (Microbiology), M.Sc. (Biotechnology), B.Sc. (Chemistry, Zoology and Botany), CSIR-UGC-JRF-NET, and GATE (99.55 percentile, all India 77 rank). I have gained significant skills and expertise in the field of microbiology (polyphasic taxonomic characterization of bacteria), microbial metabolism, molecular biology, microbial ecology, and biofilm formation and inhibition.

Isolation and identification of novel bacterial genus or species form different environmental compartment Study of microbial ecology from different natural environments Identification of natural and novel antimicrobial compounds Identification and characterization of natural and synthetic compounds potential for the biofilm inhibition of pathogenic bacteria Microbial and enzymatic based decontamination of toxic pollutants (pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides)
